Modern Day Outlaw is the brainchild of Founding members Ron Brown and Sergio Cesario, giving us a breath of fresh air touching on the hardships and good times of life with their latest single “Eulogy”
What makes this track special, is the dynamic blending of genres that will easily grab your attention. As the track starts you get into the mood of country music as the vocals lay down the lyrics telling the story of hardship and despair as you flow with the acoustics. Then suddenly in the middle of this atmosphere you get a strong powerhouse intro with loud guitar riffs and hard drums, that totally shift the mood while keeping you hooked to the music
The vocals are very expressive as they keep the emotional connection while blending different moods and genres together with a well crafted instrumental arrangement
Modern Day Outlaw fuse metal influences with Southern grooves creating a new sound. In 2012 the band released their first full length album “Southern State of Mind” which featured the title track “Southern State of Mind” and “Whiskey”. Instantly fans and industry took notice that something new was in the horizon. Following the release of their full length and a steady stream of shows and promotion MDO set back into the studio with the help of Matt LaPlant(Nonpoint) to record their follow up. With a new direction and sheer determination the “Day of Reckoning” was completed and released in 2017. “Day Of Reckoning” not only turned many heads, but also built a solid MDO following throughout the world
