Music Review – “V.I.P.” by Exzenya — A Rap Anthem with a Twist of Reality

Music Review – “V.I.P.” by Exzenya — A Rap Anthem with a Twist of Reality

The first thing that hits you about V.I.P. by Exzenya is the beat — tight, bouncy, and full of that classic rap confidence. It sounds like a straight-up flex track at first, something you’d hear blasting from a car at 2 a.m. But then the lyrics flip the script. V.I.P. doesn’t mean “Very Important Person” here — it means “Victims Impact Panel,” the mandatory class for DUI offenders. That twist changes everything.

Instead of running from the moment, Exzenya drags it into the spotlight. She raps about the fallout — the fines, the court dates, the judge throwing the book — and somehow makes it catchy. It’s smart, it’s self-aware, and it’s got that edge only a real story can give. Her flow hits hard but never loses humor; it’s part confession, part stand-up routine, all rhythm and bite.

There’s grit in every verse, but also clarity. The production bangs — a clean, modern trap-inspired beat that keeps things moving while her lyrics do the talking. What makes V.I.P. special is how real it feels. It’s not glamorizing mistakes; it’s turning them into lessons you can nod your head to.

With V.I.P., Exzenya proves she can turn a bad situation into bold storytelling — and make it sound good doing it.
